Watercolor Paper Cuff: Integrating Wire with Painted Watercolor Paper

Cuff bracelets crafted from hand‑painted watercolor paper and shaped wire armatures, designed and created by Ross Barbera.

Watercolor Paper Cuff Bracelets
Watercolor Paper Cuff Bracelets combine sculptural form with richly colored painted surfaces to create distinctive wearable art. Constructed from hand-painted watercolor paper and supported by an integrated wire framework, each bracelet is both lightweight and durable.

The surface may feature original watercolor or acrylic paintings, decorative papers, textured fabrics, threads, or metallic accents, allowing for a wide range of visual effects. The natural flexibility of the materials makes it possible to explore organic curves, bold shapes, and expressive color relationships that are difficult to achieve with traditional jewelry materials.

Each bracelet is individually handcrafted and finished with a clear protective varnish, resulting in a unique piece that celebrates creativity, craftsmanship, and personal expression.
