"Zion National Park: Hiking Along the Virgin River," 43" x 28", Acrylic on Canvas, 2026

This is my most recent painting, based on a location I photographed along the Virgin River in Zion National Park while my wife and I hiked toward the Narrows. We visited Zion to celebrate our 50th Anniversary, and during that hike, surrounded by the park’s dramatic landscape, we were privileged to witness an enormous rockslide, a moment that made the experience unforgettable.
